Dr. Emma was born and raised in Berlin, Wisconsin and went on to complete her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating, she moved to Minneapolis to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, and McHenry County Dental Society and is always aiming to keep up with the evolving nature of dentistry via continuing education courses.

At Lakemoor Dental, Dr. Emma strives to help her patients feel welcome, respected, relaxed, and most importantly informed about their oral health. She enjoys providing a variety of treatment options, including surgery and cosmetics, and uses her attention to detail to make the experience as comfortable as possible while delivering high quality care. When not practicing dentistry, she is usually with her partner, Ethan and her husky mix, Sabo either spending time outside together, hanging out with friends/family, trying a new recipe or restaurant, or watching the latest series.
