Dr. Gerel Emgushova

General Dentist

Dr. Gerel Emgushova completed her undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. She then continued her education at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with Magna Cum Laude Honor. Upon graduation, Dr. Emgushova was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Clinical Excellence Award.

Dr. Emgushova then completed a fellowship at the National Institute of Health (NIH)-Craniofacial and Dental Clinic where she worked with immunocompromised and pediatric patients. During her tenure she received special training on patients with Autism, Osteogenesis Imperfecta and Dentogenesis imperfecta, and has presented research at multiple national Autism Meetings.

Dr. Emgushova provides best care by keeping up with the ever changing world of dentistry through Continuing Education. While working as a general dentist, Dr. Emgushova discovered her love for surgical dentistry and decided to continue her education. Dr. Emgushova completed an implant surgical program at the Misch Resnik Implant Institute and received her Fellowship in Implant Dentistry. She has been treating patients of Lakemoor Dental of Hainesville for 8 years now. And the best reward for her hard work is to see patients and families come back and see her year after year.

When she is not doing dentistry, Dr. Emgushova spends her time with her husband and two sons. Her interests include cooking, traveling and being a soccer mom.
